Now for the crochet element of The Knit & Crochet Show here in Portland, OR. There was not nearly as much crochet as there was knitting, but I saw a few very cool things.
My favorite booth with crochet stuff (although there was a ton of knit stuff here as well) was Stitch Diva Studios. I am a sucker for interesting hats, and I loved the hats I spotted in this booth! They also carry crazy...

A couple weekends ago (on the 12th) I got a chance to go to The Knit & Crochet Show put on by the Crochet Guild of America and The Knitting Guild Association, which happened to take place up the street from me here in Portland, OR. But according to a search, only one coaster has ever been mentioned on Threadbanger... which means, of course, it's time for a roundup!! I found oh so many great coasters out there, and am definitely skipping a ton more, so I'm going to go...

This book looks amazing! I love some good old fashion letter press- whats better than nice stationary? Don't be a slave to the Borders stationary/gift section. Nt when you can make your own, and this book makes it easy for anyone and everyone! Use cardboard, a sheet of paper, or get advanced with curved needles, wax paper, and awls- whatever that is (haven't finished it yet).

In some startling investigations from the last couple of years, show that 80 percent of fake fur has actuality been real. Raccoon dogs from Asia, mostly China, Japan, and Korea, are hunted and raised on farms for the "Faux Fur" industry. U.S. law protecting dogs and cats from such cruelties have yet to catch up with the cruelties and misrepresentations involving racoon dogs- since they are...

Hey guys! As ever, here are my top 5 favorite street style photos from the last two weeks of style blogging, and my apologies to the gentlemen - the ladies were shining the most brightly during both NY and London fashion weeks.
