Could you do something about outside spaces! I love your show and I have worked really hard on my house. I love to be outside but my space is really boring. Any ideas for patio or porch?

Check out the downside of using compact lighting. I recently heard they are giving people headaches and have mercury in them. They may not be as good as we have been lead to believe. Thanks for all of the great ideas on this site. Peace Sorraia

Loved the show!!! All that cool lighting really jazzes up a room. I love the way paper lanterns can make a room feel really modern.

Hi! My girlfriend and I made the lampshade video. Thanks, Meg, for including it in the show! The original is a bit longer with a little more detailed description, if anyone is interested. I'm so stoked to receive my prize. You don't even know. The harsh chemicals my girlfriend and I use around our house have been a topic of conversation/concern for awhile now. I didn't even know about the methodhome.com detox kit. We've been reading this book called "Clean: The Humble Art of Zen-Cleansing," which has an equal goal of keeping caustic chemicals out of the house, but I find that not all of the systems used in that book are clean enough for me. Anyway, thanks again. I'm really excited that our video is going to be viewed by way more people than my personal limited youtube audience. Jason

The lamp shade was cute, but if you don't want to hot glue it, using an elastic on the top and bottom makes a funky scrunched shade that you can replace any time.
