Can you do a tutorial on how to make slip covers for a vehicle? My used vehicle has some ugly seats but the slip covers in stores are just as ugly (or too plain and generic) Thanks!

hey, im moving into my first home next year and I plan on furnishing it mainly from donated / recycled furniture. ive just been given 2 sofas for my living room. they both look totally different though as theyve come from different people. how can i make some kind of slip on cover to totally cover them and make them look the same?

thats way cool to bad they dident do it for the seats in a truck...

I really love this idea! I need suggestions for something. I'm moving into a new house and my new room has a bay window. The thing is, I don't know what to put on the seat and what to put and how I should organize the things I put inside the seat. Any suggestionsss??? Thanks!

Love the instructions for the piping.  But I have to mention that if you are going to go to all that trouble with the ottoman, I would have used a little extra material and made sure that the stripes lined up. (My mother always told me that pattern matching was a sign of good workmanship.) Otherwise use a material where it doesn't matter.

I really loved this episode, well...I love all of them, but I have been trying to figure out the best way to re-cover some old pieces! Everything looked fab!! Thanks for the great tips and tricks!!

Really nice episode.  I knew about how to do the chair seats, but the ottoman is another matter entirely!  You made it look so easy.  I love the striped fabric and am just amazed at how easily you tackled the piping.  Can't wait til next week.  Keep up the good work.

Meg, my dog CHEWS the apolostry on my ottoman and I am so sad cause its a pretty expensive piece. Is there a spray I can put on the fabric to make my dog stop chewing it and not be toxic to her or hurt her? I tried vinager... she LIKES it. Help!
