Hey Meg, Great Show. I'm in middle school and wanna come to school with a great bag made of braided plastic bags. How would i stick them all together?

There's actually no race stereotype here. Where I grew up, in D.C. and then Richmond, Virginia for college, this look had less to do with race and more to do with where you lived and where you hung out. I've gone from D.C. to NY, both really diverse areas where all kinds of people where their hair like this. Race isn't what's being played at here. It's the look and vibe of cornrows specifically. The ladies who rock them that I've seen are pretty hilarious with their nameplates and 40's. And yes, I have a nameplate and drink 40's so it's not even making fun of anything other than a hair-do and kind of myself. I was also poking fun at K-Fed. Yes, I made the very bad joke that I was K-Meg. Now THAT is offensive. take it lightly, as I am never too serious with anything. Have a great weekend guys!

I loved the map labels (ingenious), the braiding, and best of all the talented work of the homeless guy, perfect touch. Helping the homeless help themselves.

Nice. The braiding tutorial was good to have. I loved the tip on having neon lights for a telephone (but it'd be nice to know how it was set up!)- I'm hearing impaired and can sympathize with people who can't hear the phone ring!

Dave has great stuff, great taste. Meg you are hilarious, cute, fun, and amazing. Katie + Grace are BFF's. Love that last shot.

umm, i liked this episode. But I feel slightly offended that the hair braid do had to be paired with large gold jewelry and booze in a bag.......

What an interesting episode---braiding made fun AND easy! I love all the wonderful details, not the least of which is the colorful rotary dial phone with the matching princess model! The real treat was seeing the ALONE AT LAST poster. Good job, Meg.

For fabric braiding information do a web search for "how to braid rugs",that is how braided fabric is most often used. They will have everything you need to know and more. They don't sew the fabric except end to end. Dimmers don't work with the eco freindly neon bulbs, all the ones my husband put in are useless now. So if you want to go Green, use several light sources in the room with different wattage bulbs in them.

Can somebody teach me to make a slipcover with arms built into it? I need it for my futon.

Hey Meg, I have a question/request. Could you please please PLEASE do a "Painting 101" episode? Thank you!! ^_^ I need to know how to (re)paint a table that I got for 5 bucks, but I don't have latex paint. Could I use acrylic paint and then seal it with Modge Podge? would that work?

i've noticed that a lot of times you have helpers on the show with you, and that lately that one guy (i don't know his name) seems to be in a lot of the episodes, so my question is... why don't you have a more permanent co-host?
