I didn't do this one but i thought about it....I just used mug hooks and tulle. This is wonderful!!

I think I died and went to DIY heaven! Too bad I live in a dorm and have a bunk bed during break :-/

Meg, I love all your references to these hard times. I guess it makes me laugh more inside since I'm in finance, working for the man, the man who cut all my bonus. My bonus that was my compensation for uprooting from VA to MO. Don't even get me started. You know I don't want much in life. Just a serger, someone to rub my back, longer hair that won't grow split ends, an easy diet and my Dad to get use in his hands again. I can atleast get a serger if the stimulous package gets through Congress. Oh and I am going to figure out how to freeze frame and print out Meg Allen Cole throwing back Jack Daniels to get you to sign it "These Hard Times." I heart you so much dear! Keep on nesting! These times are nearly as hard with you, Rob and Corinne!

I think there is a problem with the audio again... I tried watching this evening and the whole episode had no audio at all. :(

This might be my very favorite episode of all time. I have watched it a few times now and love the ideas and LOVE that sweet dog.

i have 2 say this episode is disaponting. not everyone is allowed to drill in hooks ect:( hope its betternext month and a is there no tip for your pets?why should they be left out in the loving?

Good and easy way to do a canopy!

Is anybody else having the problem with this episode where after the canopy part is over and after the advert. there is no sound for the rest of the episode? I tried watching it on a different computer and had the same problem.

Hmm - I liked the first half of the video, but Meg's audio completely disappeared after the advertisement. Did any one else have this problem? It's definitely the video and not my computer, because when the Next New Networks logo comes up, the sound returns.

I have a little hint for not making a mess when drilling into the ceiling. Take a plastic cup and cut a hole just big enough for the drill tip to fit through. Then place the cup on the end of the drill. You may have to trim the top of the cup down some. Then when you are drilling the hole, the dust goes into the cup and not all over your room! Hope this makes sense!

Welcome Back Meg!!! You were missed dearly!!! Love the new graphics and such. I personally hate V-day, but thanks for some ideas that are fitting any time of year. BTW, what kind of stud finder was that??? The one I have is battery operated and couldn't find a stud to save it's little battery-operated life. I put up some sliding curtains from IKEA around my bed and I ended up drilling into something metal instead of the ceiling joist. Now my troublemaking cat threatens to tear down my curtain every morning because the rail is not screwed in all the way. I need to find something else that can find the studs. BTW: If you are screwing into the ceiling joists (studs) do you really need the drywall anchor? Keep up the great work!! -Ray K. (DIY Guy 4 Lyf)

great epp!! I loved the votives with flowers in the shape of a heart on the table..TOO CUTE!! (and wouldn't take a lot of flowers to do) the canopy is awesome....one suggestion tho (to make it a bit more stable since it goes to the head of the bed) perhaps make some "pockets" for the rods to go thru? it would be easy on the bottom you just sew the width of the fabric where you have it folded up and then like 2or 3 inches from that to create a sleeve for the rod to go thru.and the same for above the head of the bed just sew one seam to across the width to make a sleeve for it there. I could just seeing me climb in bed and catch the end of the fabric on a pillow or soemthing and it'd all fall on my head!! great to see you back I"m glad you'll be more regular!

Great episode. I'm always so sad when I've already watched the Decor It Yourself and Threadbanger for the week. I wish there were something new everyday!

Loved the episode. I for one thought it was a little disconcerting to be thinking of love with a horror movie trailer right in the middle, and not just any horror movie, but friday the 13th and Jason, who has been killing campers for years. Otherwise, loved it, especially the heart centerpiece right at the beginning.

Love that rich fabric! You could do several different canopy covers for winter, summer, holidays, etc. once the hardware is installed.
