We did the doantion rather than favors. We had 50 trees planted in honor of our guests by the National Arbor Day Foundation. The guests loved the idea and were thrilled not have to bother to take home some silly trinket.

Aw, cute lil dawgie! :D looks like my lil dawgie only without the watering puppy eyes. Great decorating ideas! Just a little more color and u can use this for any ocasion! I'm kinda against fancy expensive parties, those money would be of much more use if donated to charity organizations, as you said! After all, it's all about the love and the people you share it with.

Great ideas, Meg. Loved the opening. We used swag lights with white wiring enclosed in tulle to drape around the cake table at my daughter's wedding. It was beautiful.

Hi Meg, I love your friendly tips. I DIY my whoel wedding last year and I also Used lanterns of various sizes to hang over the danc floor, I wrapped twinkly lights around the columns with tulle over them and I had candles in wine bottles as the center pieces It was amazing and I had lots of compliments! Great minds do think a like :)

I don't know what I like better about this episode. The hilarious opening (DINNER!) the great tips, the video clip of you looking gorgeous at your wedding, or the commerical at the end with superman. Which was so random yet so perfect.

Here in Fla. many culbs and bar already do that, for October I use orange lights and Austrla day and Chinisse New Year I use Red and green leave up green for Patrick's Day, Still cool.

I really like the look of the tulle with lights in it- but it seems like a serious fire hazard! Any thoughts on that? Also, Chinese grocery stores often have lanterns for cheap.

Dinner! I do that all the time, lol I love how Gracie has a cute spot at the end of Meg's episodes. But on the wedding topic the lanterns and lights wrapped in tulle are awesome ideas. The brooch idea is awesome too, I never would have thought of that.
