Awesome Wedding dance, Meg. I've always said I want my whole bridal party to do it... If I get married of course. One of the sad things about being Australian, is that Halloween isn't even really noticed here. No one really celebrates it. You don't get trick or treaters... only parties that people like myself (mid 20's, no kids, lots of disposable cash sort of bracket) attend... This Halloween there is a wonderful dress up party at the bar around the corner from my house, aptly titled "Bruce Wayne". One of my best mates gets super into Pumpkin carving. My favorite way to decorate with pumpkins is to paint them with the same designs that you might otherwise cut and they last longer. Also we sometimes cut the bottom out of the pumpkin instead of the top and cut a neat design in the front of the pumpkin then place them over our outside lights by the sidewalk of our home. They are safe for trick or treaters to walk by.

OMG your wedding must've been a BLAST!! I love Pumpkin Seeds too, but never make them when you're dealing with a Halloween Party Hangover! The smell of them made me so sick I called into work and got suspended, LMAO!!

we just had my new fave version of pumpkin chili... 1 can pumpkin 1 can diced tomatoes 1 cup of cashews 1 lb of ground meat (or meat substitute) 1 red pepper 1 green pepper 1 package of baby bellas 1 can of tomato paste 1/2 dark cervasa 1/2 box of veg stock or about 1 can 1 onion cook the onion, peppers and meat with some mexican spices until the meat is thoroughly cooked then add all the ingredients to a slow-cooker and let simmer throughout the day. enjoy!
