I second N's comment; nobody's forcing you to watch it. If you dislike it so much, why not suggest ways to improve the show rather than leaving a list of grievances.

My "list of grievances" is how they should improve it. If you need me to spell it out... She needs to stop speaking to a kindergardener trying to force that she is empathetic. She may not be a perfectionist but if she has a show her products should be as close to it as possible. Example for Some Chick would be the numbers she cut out in this episode. She could have chosen better paper or at least cut them with a more polished font. 
As for N, what an original comment, no wonder you like this show. I really tried to enjoy it but you can only take so much. I had to leave a comment so maybe, but most likely not, it would get better. So stop being soo defensive over my truth. I wasn't speaking for anyone but me.

I understand there are people that don't like this show, every one has his own taste but to say it like that...

your complaints dont even make sense.. its a personal preference, if you dont like the paper or font, then if u want to make it for urself choose a different paper and font! and who cares about "polish", whatever, these shows are for everyday people? not "higher standard" primadonnas. and why is "then don't watch it" unoriginal? his comment fit, and that's really the only advice we can give you, so take it or dont complain. and i second riechan's comment, I like Meg's enthusiasm too. :)

Plain and simple people... If Meg, or anyone else for that matter, only had "yes" people around her then I'm sure she wouldn't have gotten this far. Enimga I've stated twice that it is my preference and is what turns me away from being a fan of the show. It is not this episode that is the problem it is just the episode that happen to be the latest. The Person where the heck else would I voice my opinion? I know I know and chill I know i'm not anyone but i don't sugar coat, its a waste of time to when you are only delivering unpleasant news. Riechan I say it cause I needed to. You have to take the sugar with the salt. The sugar keeps you going and the Salt makes you think twice, so hopefully she can improve the show to reach a broader range of audience. If any of you know anything about business you wouldn't be so uptight.

J (guest), it is perfectly fine to voice an opinion, but please don't try to disguise your trollish whining as an attempt to "improve the show." Your criticism of the show is not constructive, and your "examples" of how Meg could do better are petty. If you want perfect decorations, go to the store. You seem to have missed the entire look and feel of the show. The projects aren't "unoriginal" but rather, they are simple projects, allowing the viewer to add their own variations and flare. The comment about her "overacting" is irrelevant to the show, and I think a better term would be "having fun," which seems to be an ability one loses with "higher standards."
As for business, as an editor, I know that if I was ever as rude to a client as you have been, not only would I have lost a client, but would have ruined my reputation with an entire circle of friends. You are very wise to comment as a guest. But even if I were hiding behind an anonymous comment, I would not use this as an excuse to be a bitch. And you could take this with a grain of salt.

Well taken Cachou. You can term it how ever you want, but maybe you are surrounded by people who over act but I'm sure she isn't like this when she is really being herself, and not putting up a front for friends and the camera. Plus, if she is just going to regurgitate someone else's originality she should put more "flare" on it. A more professional look, "high standards", doesn't mean you lose "having fun" it just has a polished look to it. The comment about going to the store, as an editor do you know what DIY is? I actually agree with this person lately, though. I frequent design sponge as well, and a lot of her ideas she apparently gets from there. I was originally a decor it yourself lover, but recently it is getting less modern and more cheap....

The wire resembled paperclips when it was bent, so I was thinking of using it as well. I am thinking green circles with smaller red circles on top to resemble olives.

Oh, forgot to add what I'm doing... I plan to play black and white movies (ie: Sabrina with Audrey Hepburn) to get people in the right mood for the late 40's to early 50's themed cocktail party.
