I'd also like to see something on making rugs... I know my grandma used to cut up old clothes and use a loom.   

Lately I've been really into needlepoint and cross stitch, how about something on making your own pattern? - or quilting? I know I've run into the problem where I can't fit all the layers of the quilt under the sewing machine so I was forced to find another way to mend the 3 layers together.  You have great, practical ideas - I really enjoy your show!

You could still draw it forwards but reverse the image on the computer when you adjust the size,

Dear Meg, could you do an episode on how to "weather"/sand wood furniture? I am painting my furniture and can't seem to find simple directions to go about doing this. Basically, I love the look of antique furniture and would like to give my outdated pieces a  makeover! love the show!

Hey...just wondering. I really wanna redo my bedroom. 
It looks like a 7yr old girls room and I'm way past the pretty princess look. Any ideas on how to redecorate on the cheap? Preferably finding ways to alter my dressers and bedposts. They look really old fashioned and country. I'd like a more modern look but something my parents would appreciate as well!

an idea for this year: i found two old cocktail couch chairs, really cute, but with water stains. the cover is menth green satin. they are probably 50 years old. i would LOVE to learn how to upholster them.

That was pretty damn unique and it saves me on going out and buying decorations.

What can I do to make an out-of-commission fireplace look pretty? We don't use it because we have dogs, and dogs like to chew on wood. Is there an alternative/decorative use for a fireplace, other than to...you know....have a fire? Thank you tons and bunches!

LOVE THIS! Thanks for the ideas! Have you done any work with eastern style paper cutting/folding techniques? I've fooled around with origami, but this is a nice alternative.

I love the white on white, it's so modern. But it made it a little hard to show through a camera.

In 2010, I would like to see more upcycling ideas. For example, right now, I have lots of wooden clementine crates (mmm... clementine season...)  lying around. What would you do with it? or with bottles? styrofoam? old magazines? old jeans (with holes)? vinyl records? 

I would like also to see even more creative organizing ideas. Thanks for inspiring us and happy 2010!
