I had an issues when making mine and I need advice! My glue kinda bubbled and you can see it all around the cup rims. What can I do?

I think this is a wonderful idea using old dishware into a new display dish. I have stumbled upon a book that I think you'll enjoy. It is called "Manufractured: The Conspicuous Transofrmation of Everday Objects."

lovely project - i recommend trying it with glassware! i made a lovely cakestand and fruitbowlthing out of a bowl and a winglass .... the options are endless ..

Cool tutorial, unfortunately timed for me though. I'd been eying an old silver tiered serving tray at my local thrift store and finally bought it a few days ago. Still happy with it though.

Fun fact about Fiestaware; the glaze has bits of uranium (especially the orange and red pieces) that makes a geiger counter go crazy. Fortunately, the yearly average acceptable levels for the average person is something like 5,000rads. So long as you aren't continuously licking the plates, you ought to be ok.

My favorite dishware comes from a spectacular little store I stumbled upon in NYC. Fishs Eddy. check their website, http://www.fishseddy.com/ . I love all new different New York patterns (manhattan, brooklyn, central park, coney island, etc) and the floor plan patterns too.
