I want to know how to do the peg board stuff my apartment has more wall space than cabinet space.

Alison. I went to a thrift shop and found an old chandelier. Spray painted it black and bought black glass beads and crystals to add some luster. I draped beaded strands from each one of the spokes and even added longer strands connecting every other. Then I added some drop crystals 45mm (1.5") from the bottom of each new candle spoke. It looks amazing, is ONE of a kind, looks expensive, and best of all its recycled :D Hope this helps you and anyone else!

I found an old Huge colander and turned it upside down to use as a light fixture. Works great and looks perfect in the kitchen.

Love the peg-board.  I'm looking to put one up in my kitchen.  What did you use as hooks?  I haven't been able to find any suitable in my hardware stores.  Does anyone have any suggestions on maybe an item that would could find new life as a peg-board hook?  Is it even feasible?

I'm pretty sure you could replicate the candlabra you got from etsy to get an overhead light- just make a chandelier and run a lamp kit through it, get some bulbs and... voila! I saw hgtv do it for someone on Design on a Dime. Meg, I smell a possible follow-up episode here!!

Great apartment! I also like using tung oil to finish wood because it doesn't chip off like some polys can.

Where can one get that awesome green (or any color) pegged board that is used in the kitchen? It is just an awesome way to use space and I would love to try it out at my apt.

take the table apart and do each piece individually that table had 9 screws im guessing staining different colors and shades with stencils would be cool too

OMG ahaha I LITERALLY have the EXACT same side table. I've had it my whole life, it used to be pink and now its white. The dark finish looks so great on it!! And YES amazing apartment tour. I loved the peg-board idea in the kitchen!
