How-to make a Pinata, Decor It Yourself

Love this. Love even more that you didn't create animal symbol to beat for treats. Sorry Mexico, you need an update from the donkey beat down.

I didn't make this piñata, but I bought one for about ten dollars and took a drill, hot glue gun, and 8 feet of LED xmas lights, and I turned a piñata into a lamp/disco piñata decoration.

insted of that im doing one for my dogs b-day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

meg you're so great, nice piñata. you can also do your paste on the stove, when the water is warm add the flour and stir, leave it for a few minutes and that's it; add sugar just for fun. greetings from mexico city.

haha, I totally laughed out loud when you put the dog treats in the pinata!  So funny... It makes me wish I had a dog to make a pinata for.

A less messy way to make a pinata is with 3 brown paper grocery bags. I just put them inside each other, put the treats inside, decorated the outside, tide the top shut with string and it was done.  The kids had a hard time breaking it.  I think I bulked it out with shredded paper between the layers of bags.

Cute! I love her puppy, and chihuahuas in general. I think you could make the pinata even cuter by adding some of those paper flowers Meg had in her hair to it... I might even try that with doggy treats for my chihuahuas
