Happy Thanksgiving Threadbanger!
It's Meg here, returning to give you a DIY decor idea for your Thanksgiving table.
The autumn leaves are falling to the ground just in time to make a cool centerpiece mobile just in time for the holidays.
Bring home several colorful fall leaves and gently wash them off with water. Allow to dry before you start your project.
You will need clear nylon thread, scissors, a branch or hanger to hang the leaves from, and twine.
Take your branch and thread, and tie the end of the clear thread to your branch. Repeat until you have several pieces of the thread hanging down formt he branch, varying in length between 1 1/2 feet and 2 1/2 feet long. Then tie the end of the thread to the stem of the leaf.
Once the end of each strand of clear thread has a leaf tied to the end of it,take your glue gun and add a dollop to the knot.
Measure out to pieces of twine to be the same exact length, around 2 1/2 feet long. Tie your twine around the end of your branch 4" away from the end.
Do this with both pieces of twine, and tie the other ends together, creating a triangle to hang your mobile from.
Take your mobile and lay it on a piece of newspaper, and spray an acrylic coatingon the leaves tokeep them tear-free.

Hang your mobile above the center of your dinner table from a ceiling hook.
Enjoy your colorful, all natural DIY decor!
