Oh that Tidy Bachelor dude has me ashamed like nobodies' business. I'd like to post more but I need to clean my place. Thanks for the lampshade idea.

Dare I say it... Favorite episode yet? Could it be because of Science Gracie? Amazing. That lace lampshade idea would be perfect for hanging lamps as well! And it would look beautiful with a light bulb that is clear glass with an over sized filament, if it is energy efficient of course! Meg, I LOVE YOUR SHOW!!! I cannot wait to see episode after episode after episode!!! You have a talent and an eye that needs to be shared with the world! Let's get on top of that!!!

A man that cleans and has style! Wow! Does that Tidy Bachelor need a Tidy Bachelorette? Because I am free!

But really what a great episode and I was wondering what to do with my supper hero stamps. They will now be taken off the fridge and put in a framed place of honor.

Great episode! After your Charlie Chaplin, I didn't think you could ever pull off a better costume ... but your science lab get-up blew me away! Love the lamp shade idea, I've done a few myself with paper, but always felt nervous about flammability... can you recommend any safety guidelines for DIY lampshades?

  • Michelle* wrote on August 1, 5:07 pm

Agreed, rachel. I thought, how could this get better? and then, it did!!!!

I must say you make a stunning mad scientist. I too have several busted lampshades that were need of replacing. So excited I won't have to now!

PS. Tidy Bachelor dude puts my place to shame. I think I'll clean before I lace up my lampshades!

DIY Lace Lampshade - Decor It Yourself!

Here at the nesting labs, we take on all kinds of aesthetic experiments. This week we morph a old lamp into a brand new lace lampshade. Using vintage and recycled materials we create a lovely, new accessory for the home. Then we take a trip on over to the New York nest of the tidiest bachelor.
