I cant believe you cut up a perfectly good Hawaiian shirt...had you done this 8 years ago when I was in my Hawaiian shirt wearing phase I might have had a breakdown. Like the shorts short though, How to Tuesdays Rock!!!
kpup- it depends...these particular pants had no liner and are made with a fabric that is really thin. if your pants have a liner, i would remove it first. also, by opening up the sides and putting patches in with a different fabric, you create a more breathable short. remember, you can make any size or shape pattern for the side patches that you want. xoxo

but what about the fabric getting wet? wouldnt it be too transparent?? and also the tshirt for the girls' swimsuit?
The bikini is double-layered with fabric, so apparently you don't get the wet t-shirt contest-look unless you try surfing in them.
