Nice... but arent the edges sharp? Maybe super gluing a small band of rubber or adding some sort of putty to the edges that hardens would alleviate this (prior to painting, of course).
In a fashion design class I had as an art student, one of my classmates designed a shirt out of bottlecaps in the same way these earrings were made (thick thread instead of wire went through the punctured holes in the caps).
Wow, Corinne, nice boobies. -^^-
You can also use the bottle cap as puns, by coloring it and putting on the other side a saftey pin that you adjusted to fit.
but thanks again, without it, I wouldn't have known it's tuesday. =]
hey i made some bottle cap earrings jsut a while ago but they were slightly different... i posted the pictures on my thread:

Hi i like your show and have a question myself, I bought pants with bleached on strech marks, i'd hate to just give away some good jeans, is there anything i can do to fix them?
here is a tip if you dont want the bottle caps to scratch u- or get a cut from the edges. use a sandpaper (not a rough one, a smooth one.. its color blue.. i forgot what it was), and sand it on the enges
until its really smooth. it may shrink the cap, so be sure to do lightly, and also to avoid making the cap sides uneven.
now i can do something with all the jones bottle caps i've been saving

I wonder if you could do the same thing with change (pennies for example or foreign money.) Then again that's illegal right? To alter money?

Why cover up the logo? It's what makes them cool!
cause i like it like that...but you can do whatevas you want. plus the paint helped to make the edges not sharp.
