Adrian from Alaska - fantastic hoodie! C'mon over to the forums, if you're not there already.
Weker1 - you too. :-) Feel free to stop by the forums. All are welcome!

Also that hoodie was killer, I would love to see a show on how to make one like that!
A very exciting week indeed...I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the Fashion Enemy show makes its debut, it was a lot of fun working w/ Andrew again to make them. You guys are still in the lead w/ Rachael Ray, very exciting!!! Proud of you bro! (and you too Corinne!) -Steve C
Looking forward to the new show!
Great corduroy hoodie.
Re: jean purse, I saved a super cool pair of my son's jeans for just such a project. Don't forget about kid sized clothes.
I see that you hand stitched the purse back together. I was thinking would it not be better to machine stitch this to make it hold up better? But I do love this idea and will go to the threft store to get a pair to make this...thanks for the great idea. Keep up the good work.
@lisafestus
my sewing machine is actually broken right now :(
that's why i hand sewed it...and actually its very durable.. i went across twice which a meticulous running stitch which seems to have done the trick.
i cannot stop looking at this purse. i love it so much. cannot wait to stencil something on it.

It's kinda upsetting... RR has a billion guests on her show like Adrienne and Ask a Gay Man, giving vanity advice and promoting products most of us aren't willing to spend a paycheck on.. She could use a little resoursefulness. Madeline Merced isn't really a bad show, I enjoy her site, but she doesn't have the stage presence of these guys.
I love you, You guys are so great. you both give me great ideas to do things on my own. see i sit home all day cause i have no car or liecense so i can't go anywhere, and my furture husband works all day. so i surf the net and look for project ideas to do. Never heard of you until the racheal ray show and now i can't seem to get enough. I LOVE EVERYTHING you two do. I love the thought of useing old cloths to make new things with them. And Lord knows i have enough stuff to work with.
Thank-You, Thank-You, Thank-You. Can't say it enough
Haha. I almost ended up on the Rachael Ray show ! (= But I didn't have a friggen camera that I could record using tape only. Boo ! So, I had to tell Mr. Newborn that I couldnt do it...by.. ignoring his call >_< What kind of idiot ignores a TV producer's phone call ...
I couldn´t resist, and I sewed one for myself, with a few modifications: I extended the bottom of the bag to make it taller, I lined the purse and I sewed a strap with "hidden" pocket and added a zipper pocket on the flap. Pictures on the link :)
This is probably really weird, but I have a pair of jeans that I love, but they're tattered and falling apart... The fabrics thin on the bum and I can't wear them as they'll probably tear. :( But I wore them to warped tour and met one of my fave bands in them and everything, and I wanna do something cool with them 'cause they bring back memories. Every little hole and tear holds a memory. :P The one on the knee's from playing dodgeball at youth group... The frayed ends are from getting stuck in a mosh pit (and getting out alive thank gawd :D)... Anything I can do to them to make something cool outta them? I can't bear to give them up.
And yes, I know, I'm weird. :P
Tell me this, after watching a great DIY video, I REALLY WANT the printed instructions. I'm a new subscriber and I just can't seem to find the "how to on how to print project instructions". HELP!
