    its from an old suit that we got from the thrift store. it was tooo big so i just took in the sides via the pinch and pin method. and viola, one of my favorite pieces of clothing.

    Unfortunately, the zipper tutorial didn't answer the only really hard part about installing zippers (IMO), which is getting around the zipper head when you don't have a zipper foot. I have my own (inelegant) solution, which I'd be glad to share if anyone is interested, but does anyone else have any bright ideas?
