The dress is really cool, but I think the bodess needs to be a darker color. The bright purple is very bright and fun, but the rest of the outfit is very dark. Maybe if the bodess was one shade darker it would be perfect. :)

I frequent thift shops, but I never would have thought to dye as wedding petticoat what a great idea. I love the dress and I agree there should be more costume episodes. I do sew myself, but I am always trying to find shortcuts to great victorian style dresses. I just love your idea for the dress. I think I will try it.

BY FAR my favorite episode you've ever done. I LOVE Colleen Atwood's work!!!!! I also love both of the DIY projects and can't wait to try them out but I'm absolutely in love with the victorian inspired corset gown.
