I saw that you put Adenosine Triphosphate as one of your scary chemicals. In reality, this occurs naturally in the body and is the body's cells 'energy currency', also known as ATP. It is in every cell in your body and is pH neutral.

To my knowledge (A level Biology, so I could be missing something) it's not harmful.

Is it possible to substitute the coconut oil with vaseline?  I know people who have done it, but I don't know if it would make it less....good, haha!

Hay there, I love your shows :D Ive been lurking on them for almost a year now. But I was, I was wondering if you could do more eps on clothes or accessories that you dont need a sewing machine to make! I dont have a sewing machine yet, (though ive asked my mom many times) so it would really help me out! Maybe stuff where you have to use hot glue? Or just cutting. Anything really!

Love the show guys, keep up the good work. I am having a alteration dilemma. I have an old jean jacket that I would like to convert into a motorcycle jacket look. I suppose I need to move the zipper over to the side, add a metal clasp to the bottom and jazz up the colar and make it bigger. Got any ideas?

What about basic maintainence for sewing machines?  Like oiling and cleaning... I've been trying and wondering if im doing it right.

I'm always taking them out of clothes I buy at the thrift store and feel like it is such a waste to throw them away since they are usually covered with the same cool pattern as the clothes I've bought.

they are super comfy and i already cut some cool holes in them but they don't fit me around they thighs since i lost weight during the summer.

Best scrub EVER, oatmeal, the regular, not instant and honey. Keep them in your bathroom and mix about 2 tbls of each right before you get into the shower/bath. Put it on your washcloth and scrub away.  Another  "balm", 1/2 cup any oil, I like to use some Vit E as it is good for the skin. 1/2 cup melted bees wax and 2 tbls honey. Mix it all together and pour into your containers. Add sent color if you want. A good portable container for this are pill boxes, you can get some pretty ones, don't forget to reuse your containers.

Thanks for including a product "for guys"! Also, if you want to make a body scrub that's a little less sticky/candy-scented, try using natural sea salt and your choice of base oil (anything safe to eat works for skin). Baking soda makes a good anti-grease-and-acne face scrub, too. Just add enough water to make a paste. Thanks for a great show!

This is so weird, just this week i was reseraching all the differnt wasy i can make natural beauty products. It was triggered when I bought the latest National Geographic 'Green Guide' and they had an article on organic makeup. Great job, the recipies remind me of the lipglosses and cream i made when i was a kid.

You guys should have mentioned LUSH Cosmetics, they have great natural stuff!

WARNING: the lemon juice will make your hair lighten, and possibly turn orange if you're a brunette. Take it from experience. But cool ideas otherwise.

I love this eppy sooo much! I'd already done the lip balm - you can carefully melt it in the microwave. "Natural Beauty At Home" is also a great book.
