God. I fucking love you guys.
Your episodes make me happy inside.
Steampunk is wicked awesome. If I knew how to sew I'd buy the machine and make own steampunk clothing.
Great idea.
It would've been helpful to use a lighter shade of
fabric to demonstrate with;
the dark fabric made it hard to see what was being done.
Love y'all!
...were not going corporate... but threadbanger is getting larger, and with the help of people like Janome we'll be raising more awareness of the DIY community and its ethos. Eventually with enough help we hope to be influencing millions of people
around the world to recycle and recreate their old clothing.
This will all take some serious creativity , time ,and money. As well as a seriously awesome community like yourselves. So keep up the good work everyone...were all changing the world one needle and thread at a time.

You zoomed in on his sneakers? Sorry to call you out on this but I must. I'll take it back as soon as you teach me how to make a viable sneaker I can ride BMX in.
I LOVE that you showed how to take a men's blazer and turned it into a backpack. I never would have thought of that myself. I especially liked that it was a pinstripe!
However, as a long time sewer, I really must STRONGLY suggest that when pinning anything that goes through the sewing machine, turn your pins perpendicular to the seam. That way, they can be sewn over with much less possiblity of catching them with your needle, and will make taking them out as you sew so much easier (heads have to be at the right of the seam to make that happen). Trust me, you'll thank me for this.
Excellent bag! I thought it was going to be an episode about making messenger bag but this is better(cause it's another bag!)
Here's a tip. If you want you can add a polar fleece strap to you existing strap for added padding(cause you know you'll be bogged down with tons of homework in a matter of days)
Wow! That actually looks big enough to keep all the stuff I'm inevitably going to be carrying around. Maybe I should consult with my mother about that...

Awesome episode guys, it made me laugh. And those sewing machines are really awesome! If I didn't just get mine this year, i would definitely buy one of those.
In conclusion to our back to school week, Rob and Corinne are showing you how to take an old mens suit jacket and magically transform it into a backpack. So nows the time to raid uncle Ned's closet for an old sports coat, break out the scissors and get to DIY'in.
u should slow it down a little im confused and instead of a sewing machine can u use a needle and thread

Awesome sode, the bag looks awesome, though tis a little late for me...oh well. XD
I use to do that until my needle went over one, snapped off and almost took my eye out. Does that ever happen to you ?
yeah, don't sew over pins. it's dangerous. you could hurt your machine, too!
great recipe for a backpack!, by the way
