Great skirt! I'm gonna try that, maybe just below the knee length. I love high-waisted pencils!

Love, love, love the skirt. I've seen the zipper/lace combo all over the city. It's hip, it's happenin', it's DIY and totally inspiring.

P.S. get me in on that puppy action. Ooooh weeee!

Did you make that scarf before? I think you did... but if you didn't you should make it! I want to see it.

  • nonya3soum wrote on September 12, 11:03 pm

Yes, she has made that scarf before. On the blog it's titled ruffle vest tutorial.

great show. the skirt was very cool, though if I did it, I might do it in a less noticeable color.

liked the episode and hte skirt is good too but would look not so great on me any chance of a big girls tutorial and by big i mean short and not skinny. cause i think we are being a bit left out. love all your work i crave my threadbanger all the time. bye from Oz.

  • Kess (guest) wrote on September 15, 12:15 pm

i LOVED the skirt though i'm very short so i'll look funny in it
ok so i know this has nothing to do with sewing, but i LOVE your hair in the beginning of the episode, how did you do it?

  • crypticprowler wrote on September 15, 6:59 pm

So this question is going to be embarrassing...but I have to ask. Let me start from here... this past weekend I went to the local Anime Convention here and I'm eager to make my own costume for next year (this year I only bought it from WalMart). I have one little problem though... I don't know how to sew with a sewing machine :( can you please help me out? A video of how to do it would be great! I'd love to be able to actually see how to do it instead of reading on how to do it.

Thanks guys! Keep up the awesome work

  • jacksgirl526 wrote on September 15, 9:29 pm

I know this is completely off-the-wall and not at all related to the video, but could someone tell me how to make ruffles? i wanted to make a vest with ruffles around the back but i don't know how to make them springy and even...help? anyone?
