How-to Sew with Electronics, Threadbanger Projects

lol, I suppose what makes me a nerd is I actually have a very popular fashion line on a virtual world called Second Life.  Working on a real life fashion line!  TY so much EVERYONE at Threadbanger!!!

i dance in the hall ways at my high school and some times i sing but its ok bc im in student council and every one does it lol!

So I went searching for conductive thread because I wanted to sew LED's on my steampunk outfit.

How am I a geek?  I go to every local anime convention I can find, I'm in a highschool program that specializes in Engineering, Science, and Technology [only about 15 other girls in the entire thing, too!], and my friends just sucked me into playing D&D with them at the public library... I'm a level 2 Cleric... =.=;;

I made a necklace tonight by recycling number 6 plastic into shrinky dinks.  My necklace says "I *heart* Wolverine".  Does that make me a geek?

You should have a comic book special. Maybe make a comic book inspired messenger bag?...

Wow, the advertising is getting really bad. I don't even want to embed this show anymore, because the ads are so corporate. What happened to cool ads about cool stuff, Threadbanger? Caress? Baked Lay's? Ouch. 
Can you at least curate your ads with DIY/Art/Sewing related companies, or place them on the side instead of inside the videos?

this is so awsome ive been looking at doing this kind of thing but can u wash it in a washing machine or will the LED's fail i mean if u take the batterie out will it be ok or is there a way to do it so u can wash the item of clothing? my main problem is nobody in australia is selling conductive thread or any lilypad anything its soo sad

How am I a geek/nerd? I went and saw the new Star Trek movie tonight, even though all the lighting effects causes an epileptic reaction when I walked outside! Damn it, Jim! I'm a Trek-y, not a crazy person!
And just to add to the geekieness, I started watching Star Trek when I was three with my dad... I'm now twenty-three and still watching it.

I personally like the word Geek better than the word nerd. I don't know why. When I think "Nerd" I think someone who has there pants pulled up high and their only friend is their mother. When I think geek I think of someone who is smart, and can navigate through today's technological society. I'd like to think of myself as a geek not a nerd.
