    Those look really cool!

I just had a bit of a problem hearing what she was saying... can you transcribe the tutorial into a blog entry at some point?

  • SnippySnippy wrote on September 6, 5:06 pm

I agree, I loved the final product but i could barely hear her. I hope she wrote a tutorial.

  • supadey wrote on August 28, 6:29 pm

woooooww!! that glove is THE GLOVE! great tutorial! though i had a difficulty with the sound too, but really, your glove is awesome!

  • Leix (guest) wrote on August 28, 6:57 pm

This is sweet! I got my goggles, now I'm gonna get some gloves.
And now i'm dying to see the new episode tomorrow.

I'm gonna walk around school in these clothes, because I hate the fact that everyone else is dressed in Abercrombie. Plus, I love steampunk.

  • OpinionatedGirl (guest) wrote on August 28, 7:03 pm

I completely agree!!. It's soooo irritating. over here in England, everyone wearing either A&F, Jack Wills, or a combination of both! Ack!

  • orange4christ wrote on August 28, 7:53 pm

okay can someone please tell me what steampunk is?

  • Leix (guest) wrote on August 29, 3:41 pm

Steampunk is a subgenre of science fiction. Most of it takes place in an alternate universe of Victorian England, and in most of the steampunk universes everything is powered by either mechanics(like winding springs), or steam. It's like the retro futurism of the industrial revolution. Also, it's sometimes represented with clockwork gears and brass pieces.

The stuff that Rob was wearing in the Indy Mogul special was more of an aviation idea, because alot of people ride airships in steampunk worlds. Look up abney park or girl genius.

  • diello wrote on September 1, 2:54 pm

I always described the fashion of Steampunk as the opposite of the fashion of Cyberpunk... in that Cyberpunk is the present meets the future, and Steampunk is the present meets the past.

  • ROCK_AND_SEW wrote on August 28, 9:30 pm

steampunk is like old western style meets elaborate weapons and technology. think highly decorated pistols with whore-ish dresses...
Its cool, but i can't really describe it that well

  • wenchie wrote on August 28, 10:21 pm

ROCK_AND_SEW that was a horrid description. Steampunk is based on the Victorian Era roughly dating from 1897 to 1901 with sci-fi (industrial style) and fantasy elements. Yes there is a wild western style of steampunk but thats not at all a majority in the style as a whole. More info can be found on Wiki.

  • ROCK_AND_SEW wrote on August 29, 12:47 pm

Calling it as I have seen it. But your describtion is better than mine...

  • Blake (guest) wrote on August 28, 11:43 pm

I don't want to be an a**hole, but I spent a fair amount of time working on that animation you stole to use as a background for the intro to this video. If you wanted to use it, you should have contacted me beforehand or at least given credit instead of just grabbing it off YouTube. Either give credit or change the intro. If not, I will be forced to contact YouTube to have the video pulled for copyright infringement. Thanks.

    Hi!
We're sorry about not giving you credit! I just added you to the text on the video. Thanks again!
