What exactly is "thinly woven mesh fabric"? Looks like pantyhose... I'd love to do this project but not sure which fabric to use... Love you guys!

  • pixieapproved wrote on June 23, 3:09 pm

dinky and JU!CEBOX- below is a link to a blog that should answer your questions, also any fabric ink will work...sold mostly at craft stores:

Could (layers of?) pantyhose be used for the mesh?

  • larryong wrote on September 23, 9:50 am

i have a question.... what kind of fabric should you use instead of "a thinly woven mesh fabric" coz i cant find any here where i live O.o... would pantyhose work?

  • everclaire wrote on November 27, 7:14 am

I have tubes of oil paint that I barely used before I dropped out of an oil painting class like five years ago. Assuming the paint isn't totally solid inside the tubes, could I use that as my screen-printing ink?

    Best stitches,
    everclaire

  • pixieapproved wrote on November 27, 9:54 am

i feel like oil paint is too thick and it takes a really long time to dry. i personally wouldn't recommend it.

  • dadreadedfro wrote on January 10, 3:26 am

I did something a lil diff based on this vid.
    http://dadreadedfro.deviantart.com/art/The-Jacket-62600169
I used bleach instead of paint then dyed the whole sweatshirt green again to make the areas lighter ... sounds wierd check the pics :)
