Ooooooh! A new workshop?! How excititng. I'm always in need of creative and cute craft-room organization.
My new years resolution is to be more bold. Maybe post a tutorial? I'm very awkward on film, maybe I'll get rid of my proverbial stage-fright this year. I also need to stick to my budget this year. My motto is: If I can make it, I'm not buying it.....except if its really really cute and on Etsy.
some resolution of mine is to exercize and eat healther, clean out my room (just get rid of jonk I don't need or use) and to finish all my craft ideas.
How 'bout instead of a resolution, have a revolution? I plan to revolutionize my lifestyle to be more healthy, to be more green, to do more for my community and to be more craftaaaaay.
My resolutions: 1) I already read a book called "Not Buying It" and am going to try and only buy necessities this year. (with threadbangers help, I'm sure I won't have to go without fashion and decor thogugh) 2) Start an ETSY shop for my clocks 3) Start a blog 4) Practice cello more 5) Exercise, eat well, blah blah blah
Take up swimming, again! I have not done it in years! Learn to crochet & get the tools to start. Learn to sew with a machine! instead of hand sewing my life away.
Threadbanger book? i am in desperate need! please please please finish!! you guys rock(= lol, i am a member but did not feel like logging on! love you all!
Get a shop up on Etsy, do some street vending at First Friday in Las Vegas (downtown monthly outdoor art & music event), garden more - plant a big herb garden & a fruit tree, paint my living room, let my hair grow long, workout, and try to get my hands on a serger! Happy New Year Threadbanger!
New years resolutions: 1)Get a shop set up on etsy, 2) Make my wedding dress/my fiancee's wedding apparel done (on time!). And I think these are enough for me!
1) Going back to school 2)house cleanse 3)hardcore body cleanse 4) sew sew sew 5)face my fear of knitting patterns so I can stop knitting just scarves and bracelets and headbands... :) Good luck to all!
My New Years Resolution for 2010, I Have 6 .. i know i know ... 1) Finish my online college [NYIP] ... 2) Complete my 365 project. 3) Be more active, I never come through on the guy thing ... so i'm taking a deff aproch like dancing walking around the mall just to walk. 4) Hang out with ppl Im not so close with and make more friends. 5) Get closer to my family. 6) Confedince
My New Years Resolution is to do at least one major art project per month and each month I'll focus on a new medium. This month is clay, I'm having a blast so far :)

Just got a gym membership, so I plan on working out and getting more fit. I too need to finish the projects I started, or failed to start after getting everything together that I need. I would like to sew more and do more crafty things because it really makes me feel happier and good about myself.
I want to make French Macaroons. They are just too cute.
Drink more loose left tea. I am already a big tea drinker, but since going to school I tend to head towards ease with the teabags. But, I will do my English side proud and return to my more natural brewing techniques.
Sew more. I am bring my sewing machine back to school.
My resolutions are:
1 to get back into my walking/cycling routine.
2 not let fear get in my way of accomplishing my goals.
Congratulations on the new space guys, you really can us a bigger place. Can't wait to see it ... also when the TB book is published ... SOLD! To everyone have a happy, healthy, prosperous New Year!
Mine sounds kind of dorky, but I'm going to avoid traditional cleaners as much as possible. Vinegar works for most things, but I'm not sure what to do about dishwasher and laundry. Any ideas?
My resolution last year was no new yarn! I actually did pretty good except for a couple of steals at goodwill, and that technically was not new. Now the dilemma of a resolution kept: do I deserve a new yarn purchase?
check out making your own laundry soap at http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Your-Own-Laundry-Detergent
we've been using the version shown in the video for about a year and it does a good job, is SOOO economical! The clothes are clean and do not have the purfume smells the commercial laundry puts in.

borax is a powder that works really well for laundry, dishes (well, by hand anyway... I'm not sure about machine washing...), and loads of other stuff. Good luck!
my resolution is to stop biting my nails and to try to attemp some of the threadbanger projects! but sometimes its hard cuz im only 12 (now that i have a sewing machine it will be alot easier)

Paint your nails. That helps. No one wants to eat nail polish ;). Secondly, I'm 14 and wish I had found this site when I was 12. Good luck to you and check out burdastyle.com for some great sewing patterns for free. My GOALS (not new years resolutions) are to get my first post up on my blog and continue posting, start an etsy, and balance cooking and sewing. I cook much more than sew. It's sad. I wanna sew. Oh ya, and learn to crochet (spelling?).

Not going to make New Year Resolution, because I know myself too well to know that I won't stick to them. Daughter entering high school for the first time, Son still very much Autistic, so trying to live with this. Will try to do more sewing. (into making lots of Tote bags). Want a serger. And I am now very curious about this Threadbanger book. Look forward to more Threadbanger tutorials. Corinne and Rob and all Threadbangers have a happy new year. It's hot here in Australia, looking forward to winter.

Did I hear something about a threadbanger book in the works? Very intruging. You have my interest peeked. Good luck finishing it. I know how difficult it can be to make the time to complete a book.
I don' like new years resolutions bc it's like you're setting yourself up ONLY to change things for the new year... But mine is much needed. I'm going to make more time for myself. I'm always at school and working, and ostrisizing my bf and my friends. I also want to get the car paid off, go to school full time (12 units a semester instead of 6), and plan a few trips to encourage my selfishness :)
oh, by the way, i'm REALLY kicking off that to-myself thing by ringing in the new year with my coworkers... I'm closing at work tonight!! X( Have fun without me, threadheads.
