I love the bag. I would gift it to my oldest daughter, who lives on a ranch in Alberta Canada, living out her dream life as a poor ranchman's wife. She would absolutely love it. We had a farm on the west coast when the kids were small, sold it, moved into town, moved to a larger city, she then went on to post secondary and has eventually found her way back to her roots, the earth and horses. The bag would go great with her boots and hat this summer at the Calgary Stampede.

My husband was just killed in a car wreck. He was found after missing for five days. His truck had gone off a bridge in a rural area and was unable to be seen from the road. What a lovely bag :). I wouldn't use it for just one purpose, though.. I'd show it around everywhere I'd go; work, the mall, and (most of all) school ;). It reminds me of the painting-by-numbers drawing my grandmom and I used to work on back in the days :). I was a real 'horse-chick' back then, so we coloured a piece of a 'jumping horse'-picture everytime I visited :). We finished it during my last sleep-over there.. so just in time.. .. the memories :)

I would use this as my new grocery bag! Yesterday when I went to put my essentials/stuff/junk in my tote, the bottom fell out. I hand-sewed it and it was the first thing I ever made. I guess it was way past its time. It's dandy and light and extremely fun to make, but now I'm looking for something more durable, longlasting and stylish. If the picture depicts the bag that you're giving away, then that's just perfect! (a HUGE horse fan) Now, what would I use it for? It really depends. My bags are usually all-purpose. :D Going to the beach, I'd usually use to put my towels, sunshades, ipod, and sunscreen. Going to school, it's usually to take along my laptop and several stationary. I have just subscribed to the podcast of this show and I love it! I've been knitting since age 10 or so, and I stumbled upon this while searching how to crochet. I'm determined to teach myself without plunking down any money on a class. I was able to make significant progress from watching the "how to crochet" ep and the "crochet a hat" ep. This bag totally looks like a paint by number I did as a kid. I would love to carry it with pride! I don't actually want this purse for myself, but I want to win it for my best friend. I met her ten years ago and we've been best friends ever since, all through grade school, until we finally split up for college this year. She has always loved horses since the day I met her. She's a very talented artist who haa a knack for drawing the most beautiful horses. The moment I laid eyes on this purse I immediately thought of her. I'd love to be able to give her something special because she's going through so much in her life right now. Her mom is very sick and cannot work, so she has to work in addition to going to school to support her family of five. She's also newly engaged and going overseas next year with her military fiance. I'd love to be able to give her something I know she'd enjoy to perhaps relieve a little bit of the stress she feels at home and something to show how much I appreciate her and something she can remember me by and use for traveling when she's off at a distant military base next year. I love bags, I've made a couple in my live but i have never ever been able to make or find one that doesnt look too fancy or to casual. This one is just perfect, in every way; I'm about too become a high school teacher and i really really need something cute like this to carry all my books and papers.

Why do I NEED this tote bag? Well, I don't use purses. I think the majority of them look too refined and fancy. I LOVE tote bags because they look rustic and have a home made vintage style. That tote looks exactly my style. I'm currently looking for a new bag for school as appose to getting a bag for abou 40-60$ in the store. I need it, I love it, I won't be happy until I have it... It is all I even wanted and it suits my needs perfectly: I have a little boy who is 2 years old,and he is like a hurricane and an earthquake inside a tiny cute body. Doing shopping or going out with him is really complicated because I have to be taking stuff out of my purse (to pay the bus, to show my ID, etc etc) and it's almost impossible with him not being still for a second... so having this tote will help me doing my regular life with my boy on a safer, easier more comfortable (and fashion) way... this way I won't be so stressed and I'll be a better mom and will raise a better man and he will get to do wonderful things on this world (like finding the cure for cancer, helping protect the environment or baking real tasty cakes) Thanks!

I was laid off last year and have been struggling on an intern's pay for months so I pretty much been unable to afford anything new or nice in a very long time.
