Worn Out: Street Style Picks

Yo guys! As always, here are my top 5 favorite street style photos from the last couple of weeks of STREET STYLE BLOG OUTPUT. Leave your thumbs up/thumbs down in the comments section...here we go! My first two faves are all about SPRING - the look at left, from a May 6 post at Copenhagen Street Style is right on trend for the season. The button-down, chambray workshirt and washed-out pink cotton skirt are a nod to the whole SouthWestern vibe going on as of late, but her little black sneaks, gold necklaces, and sunglasses all keep things street - and it feels personalized. The location of the photo at right, from a May 12 post at The Sartorialist, blasts us all the way into Summer - but that dress is aCELEBRATION OF SPRING if I've ever seen one. There's nothing like pulling out your favorite, gauzy white dress for the first time in May, layering up with a belt and some tough-but-sweetaccessories, and giving Winter a final PEACE OUT. So precious.

The first look, from a May 8 post at, again, The Sartorialist, is a great, mega-laid-back take on modern day dandy. From the top of his perfectly-faded blazer to his cropped pants and pink lace-ups, this guy just looks so comfortably snappy that I just want to hang out with him all day long. The second outfit, from a May 11 post at Karla's Closet, seems a perfect, femmed-up counterpart to the first pic. Her striped, cropped trousers are bringing up some awesome British vibes, and as complicated as some of the pieces are (fringed scarf; pieced leather, platform heels; STRIPED PANTS), the simple tank and crisp color palette all add up to a whole that just makes sense. I'm into it.

My absolute favorite street style picture this week comes from a May 1 post at Garance Dore. Where's the OUTFIT, you ask? THERE ISN'T ONE, actually, but LOOK at those GLASSES. I guarantee you we know more about this woman's personality then if she were decked out, head to toe in slogan tees and shredded jeans. A signature accessory can be that impactful on style - so much so that the rest of the look doesn't even matter. And that piece certainly doesn't have to be from the realm of Elton John glasses or kooky Isabella Blow hats. I consider mine to be bedhead - what's yours?
