• Your first password will be sent via the threadbanger twitter account at 9:30 am PST.
• Makerfaire opens at 10am on Sunday.
• Be one of the first 10 people to meet Corinne at the Makerfaire ticket booth. If you arrive early, as in before 10am, form a line beside the ticket booth next to the Threadbanger scavenger hunt checkpoint sign.
• Tell Corinne the password and she will then verify your twitter account. Why do you need to be "verified"? We just want to make sure you are all set up and ready to send and receive messages to our twitter account.
• Once you've been cleared, she will give you your free ticket and if you are one of the first 2 people, your new kodak camera! She will also give you a sheet of paper containing helpful information pertaining to the hunt.
• If you did not make it in time to be one of the ten first people, Corinne will be gone and the check point sign will say "CLOSED". BUT Please still attend the event! Its a lot of fun. Just be prepared to buy a ticket.
• Each person participating in the hunt needs to have a twitter account. Please NO teams, unless you are with your parent/guardian. In that case, only one ticket/checkpoint prize will be given to your "team". We want to make this a fair challenge!
• Read all the information Corinne gives you before you text your first password. As soon as you text the first password, your time starts. As soon as you text the last password, your time ends. Time may end up not being a factor, but if we need a tie-breaker, the time it takes you to complete the course will help determine the winner of the grand prize.
• We may have to stager people. If a bunch of people arrive at the same time, we will give you your ticket and ask you to come back at a certain time to get the first password. We don't want to overwhelm the people working at each check point.

• You must complete the task at each check point to get the next password and fun prize. A person at the participating booth will give you the password and prize. We encourage you to take your time and enjoy the activity each checkpoint has to offer. Appreciate it, love it, make it, learn from it. Please be nice to the people working the booths. They are our friends and we want to stay friends with them.
• When you receive the password, direct message it to Threadbanger [see formula for direct messaging users on twitter below]. You will then receive the next clue from our twitter account [see how to set up your mobile device to receive device updates from twitter below].
• You have to be finished with the course by 4:50pm PST.
• We will be announcing the winner of the Threadbanger Janome sewing machine at 5pm PST so make sure you are at the final checkpoint by 5pm PST to see if you've won! Plus, it will be a nice finishing shot for our episode about Makerfaire.
• Rob is going to be running around with a camera all day. If you see him, wave him over so he can catch you mid hunt!

2. The scavenger hunt consists of 9 checkpoints. The entrant must visit and complete each challenge at these checkpoints to be in the running for the final grand prize of the Threadbanger Janome sewing machine.
3. The course must be finished by 4:50pm PST to be eligible for the grand prize of the Threadbanger Janome sewing machine.
4. All entrants must be 13 years of age or older to enter the scavenger hunt. Otherwise they must be accompanied by an adult.
