Best Dollar Store Projects: June Jewelry
It's easy to spice up your accessories with quick and simple projects made from stuff from the dollar store and beyond! Here are my favorite dollar store jewelry projects from the past few weeks:

Vintage-Inspired Rose Earrings: Make for id="blog_post".10
Grosgrain made these romantic rose earrings using vintage buttons, but you can also use cabachons (no holes or loops, so you can easily glue them on). I love the pop of color that these red rose earrings provide, especially when paired with ruby red lips. My local dollar store carries jewelry findings now, so I can make jewelry for a lot less!

Britt at Cucumbersome was inspired by t-shirt necklaces she's been seeing around at such stores as Urban Outfitters to make her own (and provide us with a tutorial!) I love this idea for summer because it makes a huge statement but isn't too heavy. Recycle some of your old shirts for this project!

Jeri found some thick and brightly colored floral decorating wire in the floral section of her local dollar store and came up with these fun earrings! You can twist the wire into pretty much any shape you desire, so go ahead and get creative.
