is there a way to make this work with shoes that aren't open-toed? I found a beautiful pair of shoes that are a tiny bit to smalls in the toes, and I was wondering if anyone knew another way to stretch them.

- Yes you can with closed toe shoes. If you want to se other methods using a blow dryer check out.. http://www.rachaelrayshow.com/show/segments/view/how-break-your-shoes/ I've used the blow dryer method, and it works! I was so glad because I had to stand in those shoes for 2 hours.

that's a great idea, and you don't have to by shoe stretchers, i looked for some and they were more than I wanted to spend.
