DIY Organic Breakfast
Whether you make your own clothes and decorations because it’s fun, cheap, sustainable or all three, you know you’re helping your wallet - and the planet. Another great way to be sustainable, creative and cheap is by cooking using local and seasonal food. Enter Working Class Foodies, one of the shows on our new sister channel Hungry Nation. Siblings Max and Rebecca Lando can help you tap into another creative side of yourself by showing how to cook delicious meals for less than a person using only local and seasonal foods.
On the recent episode, “Eggless Breakfast” Max and Rebecca wake up to realize they’re out of eggs and must come up with a delicious, cheap breakfast using what's at home and at the local fruit stand. They show off their resourceful side to create granola with compote using only oats, maple syrup and fruit for just over a person. They were even able to save some for another day without eggs.
