Weekly DIY Roundup: Knit+Crochet Leg Warmers!
I've been working on a knit leg warmers design for the last few weeks (above), so I decided to round up knit and crochet leg warmers patterns of all kinds... couldn't find many crochet patterns, but there are tons of knit designs! I'll start with the basic ones, and get more complex further down. I like these big, bulky ones by High Fibre Design:

I'm always a big fan of asymmetry, so I like the striping in these, by Haley Waxberg:

The pattern for these Aspen Leg Warmers by Midnight Knitter tells you exactly how to match the stripes:

These Little Girl Leg Warmers, called Pickles, by Beth LaPensee look so soft and warm:

Entangled's Mismatched Legwarmers would be a great knit if you have 2 different colored skeins and don't want to stripe:

Susan Power's Mosey legwarmers on Knitty are so cute with the pom poms:

I like the cabley cables on these Tree Trunk Legwarmers, available as a free download on made by anushka:

Here are some bobbly cables on this Drops design:

Valérie Colette Miller offers a free pattern for these pretty Snowdrop Legwarmers:

Acme Knits has the pattern for these Lace Leg Warmers:

If you're a ravelry member, you can download the free pattern for these lacey ones called Some Cloudy Day, by tiny owl knits:

And another lacy pair - Les Cables de Faux by Needle Addict:

I love this swirly design - Kesäkeijun säärystimet by Satu Ruokamo - and if you don't speak/read Finnish, you can get the English version as a free ravelry download:

I'll end the knit patterns list with this cute mini-pair - Oncleows by Alex Tinsley:

For you crocheters - there's this basic pair on Lion Brand's website:

And then Crochet Kitten offers a couple of free leg warmers patterns (both for free download on this page)... there are these Ankle Warmers:

...and these lacy Cassie Leg Warmers:

So, if you're still cold for this last bit of winter, knit or crochet yourself one of these pairs to keep your legs and ankles cozy!
