I saw this tutorial by Vickie Howell mentioned on Craft and started searching around for more zipper projects to see if there were enough out there for a roundup, and there totally are!  Starting with items that have how-tos, Vickie Howell shows us how to make either a plain zipper headband (below) or a crazy flower one (above):
