Craft: blog had a fantastic "Make Space for Crafting" series over the last couple months, for which I got my own studio (above and below) cleaned up and organized; I'll now be moving in a month, redoing my whole studio, and I'm sure to be getting tons of ideas and inspiration from this series!  So, for my roundup this week, I'm going through the Craft archives and sharing my favorite ideas and organizing techniques...



Craft points us to a post by Monica at CraftyNest for this wall-mounted craft organizer, made from a found piece of railing:

Now here is some brilliant Ikea hacking - Liz of Queen Lila Royalty Crafts turned a couple Billy Bookcases into a hinged, rolling craft space:



A vintage card catalog is such a dream craft room organizational piece - Susan Beal of West Coast Crafty is lucky enough to have found one to hold her jewelry findings in her craft space!



I love Jessica Wilson's idea of using vintage TV trays to keep work in progress projects in order, so they don't take over your work space:



I think my dream studio would have to feature a giant inspiration board, like Betz White has:



This Magnetic Organizer, by Brookelynn on Craft, is so nice looking and awesomely functional!



I love how Cathe Holden incorporates so many different vintage drawers, bins, boxes, etc into her studio organization, including a fabulous card catalog:



I find enormous inspiration in the before and after photos of Jennifer Perkins' studio (click to find the before), since my studio has spent most of its life resembling the before more than the after, so it gives me so much organizational encouragement!  If she can do it, I can do it!



Love this Fabric Corkboard Mosaic by Jessica Wilson - cute+functional is the best combination!



Rachel Hobson has a fantastic peg board (which she embroidered on!) in her craft space, so great for organization - I love this idea of making a shelf on a peg board using a book:
