ThreadBanger
They had to end sometime...
Hi Threadheads! Just wanted to peek my head in here and let you know that my weekly roundups have come to an end. The bike roundup 2 weeks ago was my last, of 109 roundups I posted here every single week for the last 2+ years. I had a great time doing it, but was really starting to run out of things to round up - it was getting harder each week to gather up a list of something so I think the timing worked out well! If I kept it up for much longer, I might have had to start rounding up things like macrame projects or pantyhose crafts (hmm that might have been awesome actually...)
Anyway, you can find a list of every roundup, sorted into categories for you, over on my own blog... and a sort of pseudo 110th roundup of my favorite roundups in my farewell post. So, this blog is clearly going through a kind of transition period... but as long as you guys keep up your rad community of makers over in the forums, and send in your own tutorials and videos and stuff, hopefully Threadbanger will come out of this break and keep on inspiring!
And hey, I encourage you ambitious crafters to go ahead and start your own blogs! You could even take in guest posts from each other - I know there are so many great ideas happening in the forums and in your own creative spaces. Feel free to check out my blog and website (with lots of tutorials) now that you won't be seeing me here anymore, and I hope you keep on getting inspired by all the amazing things happening all over the online world, even when you're not getting your regular dose of Threadbanger! Craft on everyone!! *snip snip*
