THE NYC !

Ah, New York New York...the city so nice they named it twice !
This week we headed over into the big apple to check out the craft scene and boy did we ever get bombarded with content. Didn't matter where we went, it was everywhere. We were inspired to hit SOHO because of a site we checked out Pillowsforthepeople.com. This rad chick that makes these lavender pillows out of recycled fabric. But once we got there got overrun with tons of DIY'ers and crafters that showed us what was up. Madd props to all those guys fighting with the streets to make a living. East Village is always the place I can grab a couple cool things. This time around we ran into Jimmy from Trash and Vaudville....definitely a character. I cant even tell you how many times he referenced Iggy Pop. He told us he lent Iggy a pair of pants and the next thing he knew Iggy flew him out to Germany to Tour with him...he talked a lot about them getting naked on stage often.
And Holy shit...Brooklyn's a whole nother story...but we'll save that for next week.
