Brilliant. I love doing this. Coats and jackets from the 50's and 60's are so stunning with thier mod, boxy cuts. Sometimes you don't need the intense length, so cropping is a genius idea. These are a couple of my success stories. I took a HUGE navy workers jumpsuit, darted and cropped it into this:
And this was a roomy size 14, and now:
