I was disturbed to see the dancing bear print this morning. Several years ago I saw an awareness ad on TV that I've never been able to forget. It showed how dancing bears are tortured. They are kept in horrible conditions, they have metal chains pierced through their lower jaw, and they are forced to stand on hot-plates (thus making them move their feet appearing to dance). I realize that this print is "art", but I still don't know how someone could market something of this nature.
Yea. I agree with Aurora199. I know that it's an antique but I just saw this horrible video on YouTube showing actual footage of animal cruelty and it has turned me off of any types of amusement where animals are tortured for sport. But everything else is really cool. I love the cards and the "Necklace of Curiosity."
