Hey London Fashionistas? One Word. Killer.

London fashionistas are one of the most well-dressed of all the fashionistas I've ever seen. They replace New York women's hard edge with generous amounts of sophistication and true confidence in every article of clothing they wear. Unlike Parisian fashionistas, who tend to be pompous and have tendencies towards the avant-garde (you know what I mean), LONDON fashionista pieces are so PRESENT that you just stand there and think "oh my God, of COURSE!" Then you kill yourself, because you'll never have the money to do any of the kind of researched and well-invested shopping that any of the women living in the world's fashion capitals do regularly...

But that's okay, don't kill yourself. So WHAT if you can't afford Ted Baker and Alice Temperley (unless it's at Target) and who can? or more importantly– Do you like any of the people who can? Most likey no. They can be obnoxious.

So what do we know about London fashion?? It's polished, there's slouchy boots, scarves, sweater vests, newsboy hats, bowler hats, canes, tweed, monocles? oh and a lot of leather– like leather bags, boots, and jackets.

So here are some items that are quintessential for London fashion, and no, they're not from J. Crew or Ralph Lauren.

Mossimo Slouch Boots from Target- About 35 bucks, get brown or black with as many buckles and as slouchy as you can get them! Seriously they're everywhere in London.

Mega Chunky Scarf from Etsy.com- I particularly like this one from seller Yokoo but really any scarf can be London-esque.

Of course London fashion is more than just leather bags, boots and chunky sweaters and scarves. It too is edgy and eccentric, but this is just one blog of thousands that can written about London Fashion. But most importantly it's about confidence, it's about the way London fashionistas wear their clothes different than anyone else. It's hard to describe and the words classy, polished, and well put together only accomplish so much. So check it out for yourselves, here!
