3. Cutting Mat: This is VERY essential for the serious DIY crafter. They'll protect your surface from getting scuff marks due to knives, scissors and rotary blades, they're double sided and will last a lifetime, AND they have rulers and measurements. So there's no excuse for a crooked pattern!
