With Love, Meg
This is a very exciting day for ThreadBanger! Meg Allan is not only super talented and cute but she is an amazing DIYer who has been involved in the movement for quite some time. Read her thoughts below..... xoxoxo c p.s. i just looooove a woman with a camera!

"I am just thrilled to join my friends at Threadbanger for 'Decor It
Yourself'! This all began years ago with my one-woman run,
earth-friendly company, Enderby Designs. Enderby makes new, lovely
things out of recycled vintage materials for you and your home.
Stemming from the very simple idea of providing new designs from old
materials to encourage green shopping and living, it has continued to
grow and spread the 'green gospel' over the last 2 and a half years.
Last January, Enderby was bursting at the seems and ready to branch
out into more than just a design company. I truly believe that style
and compassionate living start at home, and wanted to pursue this
idea. My true passion has always been the "aesthetication" of spaces,
or interior design. Thus, Nest began. Nest is my 'green guide to
stylish living', a blog that tries to help you make your house a home.
Filled with DIY projects, quick tips, style inspiration and icons,
and sneak peaks into the homes of friends and family.
About a year ago, Rob and Corinne contacted me when they were visiting
Brooklyn, to come by and interview me. After an animated and
where-have-you-been-all-my-life meeting, Rob and Corinne met Nest, and
wanted to see what else we could do together. We've been mulling,
brain-storming, nurturing ideas and developing 'Decor It Yourself'
ever since. We hope you love it and encourage you to rad your pad, put
your personal stamp on your space and above all else DECOR IT
YOURSELF!"

ThreadBanger is brilliant. You guys are saving the planet while creating some bitchin' original clothing. I can't tell you how often I see people wearing the exact same item of apparel. Your show is helping to eliminate this threat.
My two personal favorite ThreadBanger tips so far are the one for framing old records and/or record covers and your spice-mulling tip that showed me not only what mulling is, but made me feel like it was something even an average person like me could do.
Your faithful viewer,
Johnny G.
Marry me?!
"Meg Allan is not only super talented and cute ..." Blah Blah Blah
Meg is not only retarded, but is also a lobotomized Martha Stewart clone.
Do us a BIG favor and give her her own podcast so I can stop deleting her after feeling like my IQ dropped 10 point. That way my crafty clothes won't look like crap.
I mean come on, Velcro tape and a log for curtains. GAG ME WITH A SPOON !
SPIN OFF SPIN OFF SPIN OFF
Wow. If you are going to be a total jerk, can we try not to bring in children with special needs. Thank you.
I did, however, appreciate the gag me with a spoon reference. Even jerks can be funny.
wow that was really mean. Well I wanted to say that I think you are great Meg. I look forward to watching you just as much as Rob and Corrin. I can't wait to see what else you have instore for us. OH, and I will be trying out the Chalkboard paint. You are extremely talented, and keep up the episodes, I can't wait to see more.
nice comment Flm3Blah Blah Blah! don't hate....congratulate.
l8r sk8r! BAH!
Thanks guys. It's all good, anyone who actually takes the time to be so negative, I don't even worry about. But I totally appreciate you having my back.
If anyone ever messes with any of you Threadheads, you got mad back in me + Gracie Strudel. We roll deep.
And Lauren, I love you. "Don't hate, congratulate." Best comeback ever.
people can be so rude. I like the log Idea. I came across it last year on some guy's site. he wrote articles for some magazine that was all about green living. getting a log for a curtain rod is a lot cheaper then spending 5 to 10 dollars on a rod that is flimsy. as for the Velcro I can't do that cuz I have a toddler but you can always take bits and pieces like do the Velcro thing and put it on the inside of a cubbard. that would make it child safe. oh that site i mentioned earlier I don't know the guy's name but he used chalkboard paint and covered his refrigerator, just givin ya an idea ;) great show I look forward to seeing more :D
"you can always take bits and pieces like do the Velcro thing and put it on the inside of a cupboard."
April that is a GREAT idea! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Could the blog you are thinking of be Treehugger.com? Now I must know.
nope wasn't that one I will try and search for it again. *crosses fingers* I remember it was just this one guy's blog if I find it I'll post it here :)
I LOVE Meg! She's awesome! theres lots of h8rs, so ignore em! you rock Meg! BTW, tried mulling spices, my house smelled like cinnamon, even the bathroom did! Not that thats a bad thing :D
