Weekly DIY Roundup: Planting!
Inspired by Meg building that rad planter on Decor It Yourself this week, I've rounded up a bunch more diy plant ideas. There is so much gardening/yard stuff out there, but here are a few of my favorites, all using recycled materials!
Apartment Therapy pointed out this canned garden by flickr user Happy Sleepy, which uses big pizza sauce cans.

Giant jeans parlor blog shows us how to make an old bread pan into a succulent planter. Great if you don't have any outdoor space for a garden!

Craftster has tons of fantastic ideas in the exterior decorating board. Like upside down milk jug tomato planters by user around.

Then there's this burlap covered version by Girlinsoop.

Pinokeeo made a bunch of garden beds from scrap lumber.

I love this crocheted cover by pharmacokatie for a self-watering planter made from a pop bottle. Over on instructables, aperkins01096 explains how to make the planter with a milk carton. And toppers-place.com has a long, detailed page on pop bottle pots.

Instructables has loads of garden tutorials too, like this egg carton seed starter by ravenc83.

And Kiteman shows you how to make a Scrooge Bottle, which will save water by giving it directly to the roots.

Hope you find some inspiration and get planting, the diy way! If there are any pictures or suggestions that I missed, feel free to post them in the comments!
