Celebrity DIY Style: Babydoll Mini Dress

Motherhood becomes Nicole Richie. Ever since she became pregnant (and given birth) she's been seen at events wearing an (almost) immpecable wardrobe. Most recently she was seen wearing this M Missoni babydoll dress. If purchased off the rack, this little number would set you back over $500, but with the right pattern, fabric and a little sewing time you can create this dress for under $75. When making your own version, start off with McCall 5618 and Emma One Sock's Italian abstract swirl silk. Finish off the look with a pair of strappy sandles and oversized sunglasses and you've got yourself a great celebrity style knockoff. [photo via FabSugar]

The Azalea dress from Burdastyle is also very similar to this (and it's free!).
so how the heck do u make one?
