DIY Celebrity Style: Vests
One of my sources of clothing inspiration is Lucky Magazine. Not only do they discuss the latest trends, but there's always a great celebrity fashion that graces the cover. This month's look: Milla Jovovich modeling fall's biggest fad, the vest. These garments easy to sew, plus they whip up quickly and are easy to find in almost any pattern book. To try your hand at making your own vest by using a pattern such as Vogue 7644, McCall 5193, Burda 7810, or Marfy 1269, pair it up with a plaid suiting material, and you've got yourself a cover look. i tried to make my own vest with a pattern i just whipped up... didnt turn out like i wanted to but still cool. I sewed up up with purse scraps and it dosent close. i'll have to try one of these patterns tho
I got a bunch from Forever 21, they only cost $8 each! Plus my sisters discount. YAY
