Shelving with Little Art Display!

I am all about DIY of course, but I have to admit I love Ikea. Great for basic shelving, and lots of modification (or hacking) options. I wanted to show you some decorative shelving I put up in my studio, consisting of 2 Ikea pieces put up together.

The shelf is the Lack, a super basic model that mounts with no visible brackets. And beneath the shelf I put up two side-by-side Spontan magnetic racks, which happened to be the exact width of the Lack. Now I have a mini-art display that I can change out whenever I get a pretty postcard, and of course magnets mean no holes in the pictures.

The art, by the way, from right to left, is by: Andy Pratt Design, Bee's Knees Industries, Yellena James, Alica Bock, Jaime Zollars, Jason Dietz, Elliott Smith postcard, and three more works by Sampler artists, which is where most of those prints came from, as did the magnets, by miss chief productions.

clever and unique and just interesting.
Great Idea!I saw the magnet strip at IKEA but were else can I get one like it?
Great project. And I love your Alicia Bock photograph.
