In a Decor It Yourself episode a few weeks back (How-to Braid and 13 DIY tips) Meg mentioned the art of Joseph the Artist, a homeless man who is well known to work out of the 8th ave and L train station. However, we have updated news on Joseph's situtation. Joseph is no longer homeless but is a part of an assisted living program with a non-profit organization called Common Ground, although his only income is that from his art. I recieved this information from the creator and manager of Joseph's Myspace page, Anna, a friend of six year's who is helping Joseph benefit from the massive and viral online community. So for all those people who asked, "How does a homeless guy have a Myspace page?", now you know!
