Just FYI, she is wrapping the yarn of the purl stitch in the reverse.  This is causing a twisted stitch each time she purls.  Also, one should leave a longer tail at the slipknot so that you can weave it in later.  A short tail (at the beginning or end) can cause all of your hard work to unravel!

Great tutorial. I like Crochet, but I prefer to knit on knitting boards or knitting circles. I find it hard to hold the needles comfortably. You make it look so easy.  Thanks. Keep up the good work.

Hey, fine video, and helpful   ...but...   Corinne taught us to knit quite a ways back, so do you think you might be able to expand upon the scarf idea, get into some illusion knitting, some basic crochet, even   knitting on circular needles?

Good tutorial, it was nice and slow for people that have never knitted. The thing that miss in the tutorials in some kind of inspiration of what you can make other then a scarf or show different scarfs for inspiration.

Try continental knitting. It is much easier and faster than the english style. There are lots of videos about that on youtube.

Great tutorial for anyone who wants to start knitting!
To make binding off easier you can use your left-land needle to slip the first stitch over the second one, rather than your fingers. 
It saves having to put down and pick up your left-hand needle each time and makes the bind-off go much quicker! :)

I have always wanted to knit, but could never find a tutorial anywhere that explained it in a simple way or took it slow enough for me, but you did an amazing job! I am going to start making a scarf right now, thank you! :D
