you seem like a very nice oerson, HOWEVER, what you have shown here is very sloppy and unprofessional, everyone can put in a zipper like that, you need to practice on your own, get it right and re-do this zipper. This job would be unacceptable in a professional situation. Good luck

Thanks so much for the tutorial!  I'm new to sewing and never thought of skipping a step by using basting tape!  I think you are such a sweat heart and you are doing a fantastic job.  I love your fun and energetic energy! (don't let the negative comments getcha down ;)  )

Normally, on a centered zipper on the back of the skirt, the folded seams that lay on top of the zipper meet at the center of the zipper's teeth, not next to the teeth.  If the folds don't match it exposes the zipper, which is not typical for a centered zipped. Also, by not bringing the folds together it can throw off the seam allowance and cause a pucker in the fabric at the bottom of the zipper.  I would suggest that the folded sides meet and rest on the center of the zipper's teeth. It will give a much more cleand and professional look.  Also, it is much easier to stitch a straight line if the top of the zipper is not cut off until after topstiching the zipper. Just be sure not to cut it off until you have the zipper pull, pulled into the garment area.  Also, after cutting off the top of the zipper and the stops of the zipper, be sure not to accidentally zip the pull off of the top.  You'll be sorry!  Good tip on bring the threads to the back side to tie off and then trim.

also yeah more threadbanger i know your doing your own style and all but there is a void alot of watchers have, or get this stinking producer to bring threadbanger back. Either/or as yeah agreed with fellow threadbanger lovers here.

Is there anyway you could do a tutorial on how to make/wear high waisted skirts? Preferably with a zipper. The only tutes I can find have elastic bands but I'd love to use a zipper instead. Thanks for all your hard work!
