ThreadBanger breezed through the CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) Summer Convention and Trade Show last week in Chicago. This event is the place for craft supply manufacuters to exhibit all of their new products to retailers. According to CHA, fashion crafting industry retail sales bring in approximately $6.3 billion per year!

Ever find a shirt at a thrift store or yard sale that you like, except for an unwanted logo? My boyfriend has to wear black collared shirts for his work dress code, which are in abundance at our local Value Village, but most have unwanted company branding, so I decided to do something about it!

Distressed denim is big on the radar for Fall and, I'll be honest - holds a rather large place in my heart. When I was in junior high I was totally enamored of all things grunge and MTV, and my adolescent self spend a solid six months with a flannel tied around my waist and gaping holes in the knees of my jeans.
